Texas History 13 – Final Project

Now that you’ve finished learning about Texas History it’s time to show what you’ve learned!  Pick an event, battle, or person from your Lone Star Junction Timeline and create one of the following:

  • a diorama of an event or battle.
  • build a model of a famous place (like the Alamo.)
  • Create a powerpoint show about an event, battle, or person.
  • Create a play of an event and act it out.
  • Create a Texas settlement or mission in Minecraft.
  • Pick a person in Texas History, research more about them, and write a biography about them. (Need help with writing a biography? Here is some help.)
  • Create a brochure that tells people why they should move to Texas.
  • If you’ve Roadschooled through Texas History, make a travel scrapbook for your trips.
  • Have another creative idea? Ask for permission, then go for it!

When it’s completed, share it with your family, friends, class, or homeschool group!

Rylan picked a diorama of the Battle of San Jacinto.
