-Let’s go to our timeline and write the contents of section 4 of Lone Star Junction Timeline. (Don’t forget to write down the dates!)

-Click the link on the Lone Star Junction Timeline to read more about the Texas Declaration of Independence. (You don’t have to read all of the actual document, but make sure you scroll all the way down to see the names of the people who signed it.)

-Head over to your Texas History Writing Assignments and answer your questions.

-Next, open your North America Through Time booklet. What did you learn today that tells you about the changes shown on the 1836 map on page 5? Write down your observations on the lines under the map.

-Let’s review all of our vocabulary words.  When they are all matched correctly, glue the matches together, back to back. (If you need help matching them, look at the original Texas History Vocabulary Words to put them in order. Let them dry and place them in your Vocabulary Envelope.

-Just for fun: play the Texas Symbols matching game!
