How do I use Fun Free Texas History?
The Answer: However you’d like!
I created this free resource because after scouring the web I couldn’t find an affordable, easy to use Texas History Curriculum. There were many great resources and websites, but I needed them to be appropriate for young kids, something they could understand, and have a little fun thrown in.
Also, as a free resource, you can use this any way you’d like: as a spine or guide for teaching, as a source for supplemental activities or information, or as a full curriculum. You have permission to share the site with your friends and use the materials here for your personal use, but please do not sell or distribute materials for profit.

Who is FFTH for?
Answer: Everyone!
Writing my own Texas History Curriculum gave me the freedom share age-appropriate material. If you’ve studied Texas History (or nearly any history) then you know that it can be intense, bloody, and hard for emotionally sensitive people. I believe, as a homeschool mom, that parents can best choose the information they give children at certain ages based on that child’s maturity and disposition.
There are a few sections in this curriculum that have a Parents notice. This should be read before allowing your child to read and watch the material. I strived to give general material appropriate for all ages and I’ve given my suggested ages for appropriate material; however, I still encourage you to view the material and make the best choice for you and your family.
Ads
I’ve recently paid WordPress to keep this site ad free. If you would like to make a donation to help me keep this site add free please visit the Donations page. This is NOT REQUIRED to use Free Fun Texas History – the site will always be free, but any help for yearly upkeep is appreciated!
There may be ads on pages we use as resources, which I have no control over. If you are receiving inappropriate ads I recommend closing it and reporting it within the page you are viewing. Again, I can do nothing on the pages linked via this website.
Thank you for using FFTH!
